Installation Oracle Grid Infrastructure Standalone 12c ( 12.1.0.2 ) on Oracle Solaris 11.1 SPARC

in the last post i did a upgrade Oracle Restart from 11.2.0.4 to 12.1.0.2 . In this post i will howto install Oracle Grid Infrastructure Standalone ( Oracle Restart ) 12c ( 12.1.0.2 ) on Oracle Solaris 11.1 SPARC

Installation:

0. Execute ./runInstaller
1. Step. Select "Install and Configure Oracle Grid Infrastructure for a Standalone Server" and click Next.

2. Choice Language and Click Next

3. Choice Disk to create ASM Data Group . and click Next.

4. Enter Password for SYS and SYSASM. You can choice different password for each user. Here i use the same password for SYS and SYSASM.

5. You can register with EM. i already did it. Just click Next.

6. select the privileged operating system groups and click next.

This is warning message. Click Yes.

7. Set the Oracle base and Software location click next

This is a warning message. click Yes.

8. Set Inventory location. and Click Next

9. You can configure to automatically execute root privilege operation. i wan to execute manually . Click Next

10. Prerequisite Checks.

Just ignore and Click Yes.

11. Click Install.

Login with root and execute the scripts. orainstRoot.sh and root.sh.

12. After executing the 2 scripts, click Ok to continue the installation.

13. Installation finish.

We can verifiy the new oracle restart enviroment .

./crsctl stat res -t
