Create Oracle Database Template 12c ( 12.1.0.2 )

In the post we will create the Oracle Database Template 12c with dbca tool.
The Oracle Database 12c is already installed .

Installation.

0. Execute ./opt/oracle/12.1.0.2/bin/dbca

1. Select "Manage Templates"

 2. Select " Create a database template from an existing template "

3. There are 3 Templates which are created. i want a clear template. i select "Custom Datbase " and click Next.

4. Enter the template name and click Next.

5. the Database file will be stored in ASM. you can store it in Filesystem. enter the the fast recovery area size, and enable Archiving. and click Next.

6. Select the database components .and click Next.

7. Change Inititialization Parameter.
    Memory:

Sizing.

   Character Sets

  Connection Mode.

8. Summary.

9. Create Template.

On the next post, we will use this template to create the database.
